This is a slow going work-in-progress which aims to document every proprietor and licensee of the Bischoff Hotel since the completion of its construction in 1909. We would welcome any input with supporting evidence of some kind. Please click on the link below to make a submission.
Licensees of the Bischoff Hotel, Waratah Tasmania
The historical records have been compiled mostly from looking at Trove newspaper articles that announce the approval of annual liquor licences. Whereas the more recent licensees have been compiled from discussing with people that remember, including Young Joe Fagan, whose family had the Bischoff Hotel for many years.
